Garage door weather seal – Garage doors are made from materials which contract and expand in changing weather conditions, and the weather sealing is changing with the law. Eventually, parts of the seal gap, slit, or even off, and allowing just wiping cold air and dirt under that space, and causing problems at all in the home.
Install a garage door weather seal, Move the door to a height where you can work comfortably. Remove all of the old seal and related materials such as old nails or staples. Sand over the entire length, with the aid of a paintbrush. Trim any ragged ends out with a scissors.
Set the strip so that each overhanging length falls on the inside of the garage door weather seal and so that the material does not catch on the door frame during movement. Staple via the strip with the staple gun, close to the crank shaft roller at the end of the floor of the door. Staple leaves over the length at the other end, between 3 inches staples. Stop one foot before the end of the door and trim along the strip, so that the end is even with the door. Finishing staple of that piece. Hammer the nails between the staples. Reaching the end of the strip and associate them with the two lower roller brackets that operate the door cable.
