Solid surface countertops are practical for kitchens and bathrooms, as they do not absorb dirt and grime. Like anything else, however, they need to be properly cared for and maintained. Solid surface countertops can become boring over time. Maintaining or restoring its original shine or enamel is not complicated. Save the cost of having your counter polished professionally by keeping your solid surface to yourself contradicted with some simple actions.
Clean the solid surface countertops with a general purpose cleaner. Abrasive cleaners are not recommended for solid surface countertops due to the risk of scratching. Shake the countertop enamel bottle too. Apply a small amount of enamel to the clean surface and rub on the countertop with a sponge or soft cloth with circular motions.
Allow the enamel to dry until it becomes cloudy or cloudy. Polish the solid surface countertops with a soft, dry towel with circular motions. Do not expose solid surface countertops to harsh chemicals such as paint thinner, turpentine, oven cleaner, acetone, or any other product known as a remover.
