White sideboard cabinet – Around the middle of the 20th century, households used the sideboards for storage in the kitchen to save space. A dresser can serve other purposes as well, such as the living room or bedroom. Anywhere you can use a little extra storage or need a decorative piece of furniture to dress up the room is a great place for a mid-century sideboard. However, a real ladle is expensive. Instead, you can make your own from the cabinet purchased at a home improvement store.
DIY white sideboard cabinet, the furniture feet will hold up the cupboards instead. Place the cabinets directly against each other. Put two one-by-3-inch furring strips in between each pair of cabinets – one in front and one in back. Drill hole through one cabinet, the furring strips and the other cabinet. Set screws to hold the cabinets together. Cut two 1-by-3-inch furring strips to fit along the front outer edges of the outer cabinet. Nail them in place.
Plywood nailed in place to create a finished page to the cabinet. Cut a half-by-1-inch grid to fit over the front of the three cabinets plus 1 inch. Cut half-by-2-inch grid strips to fit over the distances between the cabinets. Install the metal footrests on the outer corners of the bottom of the cabinets. Put the five screws in each foot plate along the bottom edge of the cabinet.
